We went to the restaurant, they didn't have some of the things on the menu. My wife ordered pasta and I wasn't very hungry so I just ordered pancakes for dinner. The pancakes were supposed to come with a glass of orange juice. It was orange drink, not juice. And my pancakes were totally cold. So I didn't eat anything. My wife's pasta was edible, but not very good. She tried to order a glass of wine, to be told they didn't have any. When I complained to the waitress, she said there was nothing she could do. I would never go back, and recommend that you don't go.

Nice place to held a big event that can accommodate 300 person in one room. However, parking is not enough for all customers but the hotel provided Valley parking. No problem. The hotel also provided free wi-fi to all customers.

Their food is good, but takes quite some time to prepare. We waited almost an hour for our buttered chicken, side of rice, soup, and club sandwich. Disappointing also for a quite nice kind of hotel to not have much amenities.

I love this hotel. Nice and clean. Staff are very nice, helpful and respectful. It's just walking distance to robinson's mall on padre faura gate for less than 10 minutes. Close to everything and jeepney ride within manila. Highly recommended. Thanks citystate and staff for nice accommodation.

We didn't feel we were in the hotel the hallway scary. The food was good, and the staff at the dining area were very approachable.

I just stayed there a night before for a walking distance to US Embassy for my visa interview the following day. I recommend staying there for a stress-free interview. You can leave your things there before you go to the Embassy. Just ask the concierge. No cellphones, no smartwatches, no drinks, Just your documents, your passport and a recent passport-sized picture.

The hotel is centrally located and within walking distance of other casino hotels. They serve a very nice buffet breakfast comprising of both hot & cold dishes. They even have a chef who will make you omelettes while you wait. The cost of the breakfast is included in the room charge. The staff are courteous and attentive. They have a Filipino who plays there twice a week, who makes the hotels old out of tune upright piano sound like a concert grand. A very talented musician who knows all the old favourites. The City State Hotel also has a government owned casino on its premises, which makes it very convenient on bad weather days. It's good value for your money.
